Here is a photo of Sydney with Ms. Linda. Her first day of speech therapy was on Friday. She'll be going twice a week. Her therapy will last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. It will depend on how much interaction she'll be able to handle. She's too young to set a time limit because at this age she is calling all the shots. She was all giggles and smiles when we first got to the school. She was being such a ham & everyone there fell in love with her. By the time we met with the principle, teachers and audiologist she was too tired to do much playing. She got a second wind and was able to play with some of the toys before she decided that she had had enough & was ready for a bottle and a nap. Even though the session was short, we had a lot of fun making sounds & playing with fun & super noisy toys. After such an exciting day she napped for three hours straight! I think I had more fun playing with all the cool toys then she did! She's so lucky to have access to a big room full of toys & games. Not to mention that the therapy center is (literally) in our backyard! I'm not kidding either, it is that close! During each session we will play & talk, talk, talk! She loves to talk, sing, squeal & laugh. Everyone (including her teacher & the audiologist) can not believe how much she talks. They can not believe she is only 4 months and on top of that, has hearing loss. I am beginning to question whether or not she has a hearing problem at all! As I am writing this she is with her daddy blabbing away! She is too much! She thinks she's a big girl. She already wants to stand & sit up all alone. She gets really upset when she can't do something. Yesterday at a birthday party she was sitting on the grass with her Grandma Diana & was trying to pick up candy that fell from the pinata! She looked like a little toddler trying to pick up a bag full of candy! What happened to my newborn? I think we skipped the newborn stage! She was born a little, feisty, wise soul. She came out of my belly with these big eyes, already observing the world around her. She makes mommy so proud!

So sweet. Can't believe how much she talks either.
Isn't it wonderful how much joy she spreads? She is such a fun baby! What a blessing to bring a smile to so many faces.
